Artist Mini-Bio (2021)
Medium: InDesign, Photoshop
Dimensions: 10" x 10"
This miniature biography design was made as coursework for Graphic Design 1 at Cedarville University. The design was submitted in addition to a slideshow and presentation in the style of Pecha Kucha. Each student was required to research a notable designer of their choice. Tibor Kalman was held in high regard by some for his visionary perspective, and he designed much for the Colors magazine. In addition to this, his glasses were a very notable part of his appearance. This piece pools those facts together into one design, where the Colors magazine style is emulated in bilingual text, font, and layout. Lastly, glasses similar to Tibor's are laid over swirls made colorful through his perspective, alluding to how he was held as a visionary.
