The Hobbit Illustration (2022)
Medium: Digital Painting (Photoshop)
Dimensions: 10" x 16"
Originally designed as a project for the Graphic Design 2 course at Cedarville University, this illustration of The Hobbit had to visually tell a recognizable story without replicating preexisting visual representations done by others. This project is a depiction of characters from J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit, including important elements from relevant scenes such as the back door, time of day, thrush, weak spot on the dragon's underbelly, stolen golden cup, and magic ring worn by the protagonist in the foreground.
