Quolo and Skales

This digitally illustrated wallpaper depicts two characters, Quolo (orange) and Skales (blue). In this scene, the two are in the fire-swamps of Salamandaria, as Quolo desperately tries to keep Skales from attacking his father's domesticated giant crickets.

Quolo's visual design evolved from a combination of two character designs in Alex Braun's RPG Reptiles series. In cooperation with Marcus Hernandez and the others involved in the Heroes of the Reach campaign, Quolo's story has developed far beyond his original conception. Skales' visual design is derivative of Quolo's, featuring an inverted complimentary color scheme.
